I am going to begin a referral program for my business, but I'm not really sure what to offer!
I sell books, e-books, curriculum, handouts, etc. for natural family living businesses and individuals. I also write a monthly newsletter on cooking and making things from scratch.
Should I give them a discount on a future order for all referrals with a coupon code? Commission I send to them via paypal? What percentages are fair, to make it worth their while and mine?
I dont' really want to get into a affiliate program per say. I had one, but it never ended up going anywhere because the program sucked and I could never get it figured out... lol.
I figure this will be pretty small scale, but I want my customers to feel like theyre being rewarded when they suggest me to a friend and they place an order.
Any ideas?
