I am here but i am a conservative mennonite (i believe the only one on MDC)

So where do you live and what kind of mennonite church do you attend?? If you don't mind me asking

We are in the Carolinas and we attend a Mennonite Church USA church. We love it! <3 We aspire to live more and more simply! :

We live in Canada and our church is part of the Conservative Mennonite Churches of Ontario....

Mennonite by our Choice/the Grace of God! <3 I was raised Catholic and my husband was raised Pentecostal/Evangelical. We were interested in the Anabaptist faith, and once we visited our church, as series of amazing things happened to let us know we were 'Home'.

I am being baptized as an adult (because I had only been baptized as an infant) very soon. In a River! <3

Me, too! We don't have any Mennonite churches closer than 1.5 hrs away, otherwise we would be members. DH and I ascribe to Anabaptist theology, especially that of non-resistance. We were both raised non-denominational evangelical conservative/Republican, but both became convicted of these truths just before we got married 5 years ago.

Currently we attend a Christian and Missionary Alliance church. We love the Pastor, but just shake our heads when patriotic/partisan politics/militaristic things come up.

We are Mennonite in our views and lifestyle, but don't have a fellowship close by that my dh is interested in. For the time being we worship at a baptist church (sigh...) Its hard to be the only plain one around. I'm so glad to have found crunchy mennomamas here!

I'm here, too. Not raised Mennonite but baptized a couple of years ago.

Oh and nicolelynn, I transferred from a C&MA church too.
