how much detergent...

first of all...eek! Sorry for the stream of questions! I'm just wondering how much detergent i should use on my prefolds in a FRONT LOADER?

Also...how big of a load is okay to wash? We're talking 4x6x4 infant prefolds

I always did a full 2 days worth of Prefolds per child in a load.

I don't have a front loader my HE is a top loader. So I am interested to see the answer.

I just use a tiny bit of detergent, maybe half of what I would use for a regular load of laundry. If you use too much, just make sure to do an extra rinse cycle, or until there are no more suds.

If it is a front loading HE, you'll definitely want to use 1/2 of the recommended amount and still do an extra rinse. I always add an extra teapot full of hot water to my rinse and that really does the trick at keeping stinkies away
