Um my younger(1.5) dog was humping my older dog(3). they are both females. what is this all about?

Very very common....I guess the simple answer you wll get is "dominance" but really its just another aspect of dogs language with each other.

Just kidding.... Like green said it is normal dog language. My FIL was convinced our old dog made his dog gay because they would hump each other. Makes me crack up every time I think about it.
