Anything else? With my first pregnancy, I was obsessed with being pregnant. I read everything, paid close attention to my body and my diet and exercise, and tried to be the perfect baby carrier. I'm worried about shortchanging #2 before they're even born because I just don't have those extra cycles any more. Guess now's the time to get used to splitting my attention between 2!

Any names you are thinking of: we have the girl name pretty much nailed down but we can't agree on the boy name. i have one i LOVE but i can't get SO to agree on it. i guess we have some time, though!

Are you secretly hoping for a specific gender: a boy and it's no secret. if we have two boys i am pretty sure i can get SO to give it the old college try to see if we can finally have a girl. am worried that if we have a girl now he won't let me go for a third. boo! (because he really only wants 2 and i want 4!)

Anything else? well, although i already have a bit of morning sickness (well, metal taste in my mouth, needing to snack a handful of times a day), i don't really feel pregnant yet. we are excited, but cautious. we had an m/c the first time and that experience has definitely colored our pregnancy experiences since. but this pregnancy so far feels more like DS' than the m/c so i am hoping i can take that as a good sign?

Hyperemesis gravidarum as of 4-1/2 weeks; IV hydration therapy at the hospital just short of 5 weeks; lost 5 lbs in a week and a half. On Zofran ODT as of 5w1d and it seems to be helping.

Will probably try for a VBAC. DD was small for gestational age (39w4d and 4 lbs 9 oz), was in severe distress when I was barely dialated, and spent a week in the NICU. I developed pre-e sometime during that last week or two of labor, after having had PIH. So, I'm hoping this one hangs in there and we avoid complications this time around.
