April 2010(!) DDC Introductions! - Page 2

EDD: early April 2010...around the fifth?

Name: Christina

Dh/So name: Josh

Age:25 (26 next week...BFP early birthday present)

Other Children: Nathan, 25 months

Any Furbabies: two kitty cats.

Any names you are thinking of: I have to go through my boy names again, but the top winner for a girl name when we were pregnant with Nathan was Ava. I will probably go through the name thing all over again. It's one of my favorite parts of being pregnant.

Are you secretly hoping for a specific gender:Nah. I would be thrilled for either. My DH wants another boy, though. He is worried about how to raise a girl.

State: FL. Where it is HOT HOT HOT.
EDD: April 1 by O date; March 28 by LMP. Hoping to convince a MW to go with O date because the BC I want to use risks people out when they go 6 days "late."

Age: 38

Other Children: DD, 23 mos.

Any Furbabies: No.

Any names you are thinking of: We have 2 girl names and 2 boy names. The boy middle name is decided but the girl middle is wide open. I will be sharing later -- it's a secret for now.

Are you secretly hoping for a specific gender: For economy of scale and room-sharing reasons, I had a mild preference for another girl. DH had a mild preference for a boy just to have "a different experience," which I don't really get but whatever. Since conception I haven't felt any preference and DH hasn't expressed any. Don't think DD knows enough about gender to care.

State: NY

EDD: April 1

Name: Kristin or Kiki

Dh/So name: Bryce

Age: 33

Other Children: a 3 year old girl

Any Furbabies: a cat named Princess Slippers

Any names you are thinking of: Olivia Kay

Are you secretly hoping for a specific gender: I don't really care, but I feel like I'm going to have another girl. Hence the name above.

State: AZ

Anything else? I'm a wee bit nervous b/c I miscarried in May. I didn't mean to get pg again so quickly but I guess I'm super fertile right now! So I am cautiously optimistic.

EDD: April 2010 I went 43w1d last time, so I'm keeping the date to myself to avoid the stress of people asking me when the hell this baby's coming out already.
Name: Aimie
Dh/So name: Alec
Age: 29 next month
Other Children: One son, born 11/23/07 via c-section.
Any Furbabies: A 6lb cat and a 90lb dog
Any names you are thinking of: Aiobhlinn (Evelyn) if it's a girl and Henry if it's a boy.
Are you secretly hoping for a specific gender: I was hoping for a girl last time, but I knew I was having a boy. This time I'm pretty sure it's a girl, though we won't be finding out.
State: MA
Anything else? I'm surprised at how quickly I got pregnant, because it was our first cycle TTC. This time is already different from the last time, since I don't have any nausea yet, and I'm not as clumsy as I was last time. I'm also still nursing my son, and I won't artificially wean him unless it really becomes unbearable. He still sleeps in our bed.

Finally, I'm starting school full time again in September, and I work nights three times a week.

I'm planning a home VBAC.

EDD: April 7th, but both of my girls have went to 40w5d, and i would be stunned if this one was any different. :P

Name: Ivory

Other Children: Ella, 3.5, and Alice, 20months

Any Furbabies: a cat, a couple fish

Any names you are thinking of: A boy will be Thomas James (family names) and i love the name Rebekah for a girl.

Are you secretly hoping for a specific gender: Dh would love a boy this time, mainly because we can't imagine three teenage girls! ha!

State: WA

Anything else? We've been TTC since December, and this was the first month that I considered a complete bust, but TADA! Here we are. I am stunned!

Anything else? I just had a chemical pregnancy the cycle before this, and a mc before Jack was born, so I am constantly hoping to feel nausea

EDD: April 7 is my best guess

Name: rhiOrion

Dh/So name: Zach

Age: 28

Other Children: None

Any Furbabies: Squirt the cat and Maya the dog

Any names you are thinking of: Lorelei for a girl- we've known that for a while.

Are you secretly hoping for a specific gender: Girl, but obviously just happy with a healthy sticky kid.

State: NC

Anything else? I'm feeling really freaked out. Just got my BFP a couple hours ago. I am just not feeling like it's sticky. I was SURE I was going to have a BFN, we used a diaphram until CD26, and then FF changed my O date to CD29, but I didn't have any EWCM- I have no idea how that spermie survived for 3 days. We were planning to start trying next month, but we also knew that we were playing with fire when we gave up the diaphragm. I want to tell my mom, but at the same time I'm not ready for that level of enthusiasm.

My third Sam is proof that that can, lol. We DTD five days prior to O (confirmed by temp spike and EWCM) and nine months later he arrived! Same thing this time around, expect we DTD three days prior, so it was a little more risky. I tell DH he has super sperm.
