yarn for afghan

I want to crochet an afghan. In the past I would use acrylic, but I can't stand synthetics anymore. I need a worsted weight yarn for my project. Any suggestions for a nice natural worsted weight yarn that isn't too pricy?? Thanks!

I would do peace fleece- it is a good sturdy wool that can take a gentle wash without shrinking to doll size. If you buy it on wholesale it is very reasonable. A wholesale order is $100 discounted price (like what $4.50/skein I think?)

I have an enormous amount of Peace Fleece hanging around. I wonder if I have enough to make an afghan...hmmm. Thanks for the suggestion
