linking questions

I understand we can no longer link anything in our siggy, can we still link things, specifically our picture site within a post? Can we only have that link in our user profile? (I have a flickr account, not selling anything, just pictures of house and garden)

Linking in general? what can we and can't we link in posts?
Is there somplace else I should be looking for what the new rules are?

4. Advertising in discussion threads is strictly prohibited. Do not post to advertise your product, business, website or blog or in any other manner from which you would financially benefit. Advertising in signatures is only permitted with a Signature Advertising Package. Blogs linked in signatures may not contain advertising/promotion without a Signature Advertising Package. When the UA says

Advertising in discussion threads is strictly prohibited

is this directed towards folks advertising their own products or does that mean you cannot discuss any type of businesses in your posting...

examples might be a post about talking about a specific product that you use, "I use XYZ vacuum, caryons, specific toy"

or a question regarding what specific you should buy, such as "I need a sewing machine/washing machine, what would you reccomend/use and what are the pros/cons?"

or a specific company such as "I ordered my garden seeds from XYZ company" where you are using a company's name in your post.

what about posts where you might ask "Where can I buy XYZ type of toy - fabric -plant - household item?"

You can link a picture within a post.

The "Advertising in posts" is directed towards people advertising their own businesses.
