My birth at Special Beginnings was the most positive experience of my life. I had some complications- water breaking 3 days before ctx with light meconium, but it was treated with...
My mom gave me this for Christmas and I absolutely love it. Gorgeous illustrations and very sweet ideas inside. Plus it's just structured enough so that I can be creative about what I include...
This is the prettiest carrier, and fit my shoulders and figure (at 5'6") much better than the Ergo. I got it when my daughter was about nine months, two years ago - it doesn't appear to have...
This potty is great - excellent value & performance! (plus it's cute!) My 9 month old DS took to it right away. He is a big boy (30 in. tall - feet not quite on floor - & 27 lbs.) and this is...
what are they made of and what did the washing instructions say on how to wash them? Were they supposed to be dried in the dryer? And on what heat setting? Did you take them out right away or did you leave them in the dryer over night?
I've ironed mine on the silk setting with good results. I've ironed the ones with gorgeous colors from the Color Farm and the plain white ones and they turn out fine. Just keep moving the iron, KWIM?
They are 100% silk, from Dharma, no instructions on them.
They are wrinkly from dying them, they havent been washed yet.
I'm just scared of burning things, I dont iron anything!
Get them wet--spray with water or dunk them in water and roll in a towel to get the excess water out. Set the iron on the silk setting and iron them dry. Silk can be washed in the washing machine on gentle cycle in cold water. It does shrink but with playsilks that won't matter. The dryer shrinks silk more than the washing machine and will heat set wrinkles. Always iron damp silk. The iron will both dry the silk and take the wrinkles out. The playsilks will get a buttery suede feel to them with repeated washing and ironing.
