I have another nonstop talker. So today I didn't have any more "talk" in me, and I got out our favorite puppet, a turtle named Cyril, and I made the puppet talk to ds. The puppet had lots of cheeky comments, so I got to blow off a little steam and I didn't have to stay in Mom mode, and I got to be just silly. My ds loved this and wanted to chat with Cyril all day long. The puppet went to the grocery store with us. He fielded ds's nonstop questions. The puppet stuck up for me when ds was back seat driving. We had a great time! I think we'll try it again tomorrow!

Hmmm, I could see getting tired of this, but I might give it a little try!
