Hello everyone, this is the first time I've ever joined a site like this, so bare with me while I get the hang of it!
My name is Nichole, I'm 23 and just about 8 months pregnant with my first little one... It's a girl! Sarah Jade. I am going to be a single mom, but my mom has been gracious enough to take me in so that I can be a stay at home mom.
I am very excited about my coming new role as a mommy, and am very eager to learn as much as I can so that I can raise Sarah with pride and keep my sanity.
I will be breastfeeding, and trying for an unmedicated natural birth, although, unfortunately, in a hospital. I am a big fan of all that I've read about attachment parenting, my favorite being baby-wearing and co-sleeping (I just set up my crib without one side and put it between the wall and my bed).
I'm doing alot of reading lately so if anyone has any books they would like to suggest that would be great! Other than that I look foward to learning from all of you and hopefully down the line being able to give back by teaching someone else.
