My blondes are now greens

Both my kids have white blonde hair that has now turned green! They spent the enitre weekend in the pool, topped it off with swimming lessons today and now have green hair. Anyone have any tricks on getting green hair blonde again? I would rather not have buy swimmers shampoo.

My mom used Tomato paste on my brothers hair when we were young, the acid in it removes the stains. Slather it all over the hair and let it sit for about 20 min, then rinse.

Also washing your hair with baking soda after each swim is suppose to stop it from greening.

Good luck.

I wonder if Vitamin C would work?

Vit C washes out hair color so I wonder if it might work on chlorine green?

It's pretty gentle - just take several vit c tablets, crush them, mix with shampoo to form a paste. Coat the hair and let it sit for an hour or so and wash out.
