nooooo, don't do it!!! imo, they are AWFUL. and that's me being nice about it.

my mil bought one and we lived with them for about 9 mos so i had to use the thing. urgh. first, it doesn't get things clean. second, it takes foooorrrreeevvveeerrr to go through a cycle. i would put laundry in and 9 days later i would still be waiting for it to be done. and the load size? this thing was not meant for cloth diapers at all. i couldn't do more than one day's worth at a time. you can see how this would be a real problem for a family of 5. yeah, it uses less water but at the expense of some very important factors. not to mention, i hate to think what a repair would cost on one after the warranty is up.
otoh, i just bought a kenmore 80 series heavy duty super capacity plus washer and i

it. it is quick, it gets stuff clean and you can fit a ton of stuff into it. i think it was around $300 to $400, we got it on sale at sears. i figure if you're going to fork over a huge amount of money (or throw yourself into debt like we do:LOL ) you deserve a good product. good luck washer shopping.
