A "little bit of lots of things" tribe?

I’ve noticed different tribes here for mamas; Christians, Pagans, Muslims, etc. How about a tribe for those of us who are a little bit of lots of things? If that makes any sense

I consider myself “spiritually open.” I probably lean mostly towards Buddhist & Pagan beliefs, but I’m open to everything really and love to learn & discuss all different topics. I’m not interested in having a religious label, so to speak, just as much spiritual growth as possible

Anyone else here who might be interested in a tribe for this? If there is already something like this here, please show me the way

I want in!! I have a mixture of beliefs from more than one tradition, and love to discuss and learn.

I don't necessarily want a label either. But have on occasion tried to come up with what would describe me. So far it's either "Christo Pagan" or "Catholic Buddhist Kitchen Witch."

I'm glad you started this thread! I feel like every religion has wisdom and some truth to it (some more than others!) and could never fit myself into a box and describe myself as one. It's difficult to explain that to people IRL because it's kind of a long conversation and most people want you to label yourself.

I lean towards my own mixture of being Buddhist and Pagan (mostly Shinto). Sometimes I wonder if anyone else in the world has the same spiritual beliefs as me, but either way I'm ok with that.

I'd like to join, too. I'm a Jewish formerly new-age hippie recovering fundamentalist; I still like Jesus and pray sometimes, but my beliefs have changed so much I don't quite know what to call myself anymore... maybe just "ecclectic"?

I would probably fit in that thread as well!

I consider myself Pagan only because I follow the classic definition of the word (some one who is not Christian, Jewish or Muslim). But my beliefs come from many traditions.

I'll jump in too. I'm a bit Native (american) spirituality, Pagan (Celtic), love Buddhism (all except sometimes it's too dry), Taoist, and secular humanist.

I'd love to talk more about this. DH is NA but only recently getting back in touch with his spiritual roots.

Taoism is also something I'm pretty interested in.

I'm part NA from my father's side. I wasn't raised by his side of the family as he and my mother divorced when I was 5, but I've always felt a calling to that spirituality. I've always been an earthy, natur-y person and it fits with my persona. I've always felt that animals are kindred spirits, as are the plants. I like to learn about the medicinal properties of plants, and which ones are edible. I like the mandala and it's healing properties for the human psyche. I majored in Social Science specializing in Myth & Culture and Comparative Religion, heavily influenced by Joseph Campbell.

I'm attracted to the more animistic traditions because they continue where my studies about Myth laid off.

Anyways, I like to do the smudging ceremony when in a new home.. Though I never did it in this house...hmm I reallly need to do this. I did "anoint" the walls and thresholds with oil though.
