1st month: BEST & WORST

okay mamas, maybe a monthly thread? we can see how it works out. i thought we could try monthly at first, since we're all at least 4 wks in. maybe weekly if it gets to the point that we have lots to report!

anyway, my best & worst of the 1st four weeks

WORST: although i hardly feel pregnant yet at all, yesterday being super picky about eating and then being totally wiped out late yesterday afternoon totally reminded me how i LOATHE being pregnant! hahahaha. already i am cranky about not getting to drink wine (even when at most i have 2-3 glasses A WEEK anyway) and cranky about being hungry and then not hungry and then wanting to eat this but not that etc argh! hehehe

BEST: even though i've been pregnant for all of three days officially (that we have known), SO is already super sweet, attentive, and spoiling. i was feeling a bit bad about "acting pregnant" already, but he's already taking extra special care of me!! i didn't expect the special treatment this time around, thinking pathetic pregnant me might be old hat hehe.

okay girls what are your favorite and most annoying things of this pregnancy so far?

Because of the stupid LMP dating, wouldn't this technically be the 2nd month thread?

Best thing: Not feeling pregnant
Worst thing: Not feeling pregnant

Y'all know what I mean...

Worst thing: rollergirl, I think you said it best -- first trimester dread. And my DH is having surgery in early August. He'll be off work for a few weeks -- yea! -- but he'll have activity restrictions -- boo. That means that just when I'm starting to feel bad, I'll not only not be able to slack off, but I'll have to pick up some of his end.

Another worst thing: Not being able to sleep in!

Best thing: Having family support. When I was pregnant and first had DD, we lived across the country from family. Now we live just a few minutes from my parents. They've already stepped up amazingly to help with DD and make sure I'm holding up ok. They'll be a huge help in the coming months, I can just tell.

ha, oops, i should have explained my idea better -- since we've just finished the first month, now would be the time to say what was our best and worst things about it, KYIM? so, we wouldn't be talking about the 2nd month best and worst until later in august..
