by 4/5 months, kiddo was bathed in the big bathtub. obviously with only a bit of water and me RIGHT THERE at all times, no exceptions, but I had no desire to deal with extra contraptions when she was quite good at laying on her back with me watching 100% to make sure she didn't flip over.

Once she was able to flip and sit up and crawl, I just had the rule of no standing. She never wanted to lay on her belly (I did as a baby and loved it) and didn't move much/fast probably because it feels different with an inch or two of water so it just wasn't a concern. I was always right there so the chance of something happening was pretty dang low haha.

Now she doesn't take baths at all at 21 months. She just showers with me. WAY easier for me haha. I think we started showers around 15 months? I don't remember now. I only remember when we nix'd baby bath products because it started just before we moved. At any rate, it was after a couple months of her refusing to stay seated anymore. Funnily enough, she now SITS for most of the shower... right at the drain to splash in the back up with her ducky. She'll stand and walk around a bit but with me right there, its hard for her to do much :D
