curious about the routine vax in US vs Canada.

I have noticed reading on here at least one glaring difference.
To my understanding in the US you are supposed to vax your NB for Hep B?
What is the reason for this so young?
We don't do that one until grade 7 here.

There are also I guess different combinations of things?

Here we have DTPP (diptheria, tetanus, Persitus, and polio)

Where and when is a polio vax in the states?

Here ours is http://www.health.gov.on.ca/english/...f/schedule.pdf

The schedule you posted if for Ontario. The schedules differ even by province here in Canada. For example AB has Hep B at grade 5 and Varicilla at 12 months instead of 15.

Also I didn't see this DTPP thing you were talking about. Unless you meant DTaP-IPV-Hib which is a combo shot.
