I have been lurking in this due date club for a while, but this is my first post. My husband and welcomed our first child, Miles Franklin on July 16, 2009 at 8:45 a.m. He was born after a night of back pain, a day of early labor, and another night of active labor. He was born covered in thick meconium and needed deep suctioning, but fortunately he was fine and on my chest within less than 15 minutes.
My mom was present throughout the labor and delivery and was a big help. My husband was AMAZING throughout the whole thing and is a great dad. Baby is nursing well.
We went home from the hospital the next day and are enjoying our gorgeous baby boy.
