I cloth diapered my now 6.5 year old pretty much since birth but I have no diapers anymore and will be starting all over. I'll be looking into part cloth part sposies for the first few months and then eventually going to full time cloth for daytime but likely sticking to sposies for night and some outtings (assuming not allergic) as thats what in the past worked best. I'll have a more modest budget but wont necessarly have to jsut get the cheepest and from past expence would be willing to make some investment especially once past the quickly out growing newborn stage. So its been a while whats new? still loved? Whats reccomended for a newborn last showed up at 6 lbs and swam in everything but I had no true new born diapers.. Nt due till march so its really soon but love to know.

Modest budget on a fast growing newborn, I would go with nice quality preemie prefolds.

I'd agree with Inge that the nice preemie prefolds are great in the beginning. Once he or she grows out of those, I really love the bumGenius AIO's in a size small. They just fit so perfectly.
