and what do I do about it?
A couple times I have noticed some of the soil in my garden has a little divot in the soil. I had been just covering it back over thinking it was a bird (and it could still be)
Today I noticed the soil my pumpkins are in (they are hilled) was decimated by some animal. The plants themselves are fine but the soil around them was torn up. It was like they found the jackpot of something in the dirt...I also happened to notice some new grubs in the soil and baby beetles (the brown japanese type)...
We have had alot of crow activity lately...I have not seen/smelled a skunk-plus I would think it easier for a skunk to just raid my nearby compost pile...which didn't look touched...
Thoughts/ideas?
