Help! My prowraps wick!

And let all the pee go through right away. I have had them since March and now they don't do the job - I might as well go without diaper cover.
Does anyone know what might have caused this???

If you pail them with diapers, or use bleach or use enzyme cleaners on them, the waterproofing can break down.

a friend of mine borrowed my covers, and pailed them/washed them with her diapers, and when she returned them , they leaked like crazy.

The wick through the cover, not around the legs or whatever?

They leak through the cover I never use bleach an anything, but recently when I was sick MIL did the laundry and she might have bleached them... If she did (I'll ask her, but I bet she did, she loves all sorts of hm aggressive household cleaners), is there a way to restore the diaper cover?

That's a good question, I would like to know as well...

someone had suggested using a hot dry cycle to 'seal' the PUL, but I tried that with mine and it didn't work.

You can try the hot dryer, but they may just be too far gone...

I had that problem after washing and drying at MIL's house. It turns out she's a big fan of dryer sheets and even though I didn't put one in the dryer with the diapers, there was build-up on the walls. I washed them several times in warm water and that seemed to help. But I had to stop using dryer sheets at home, even on my other loads (I used those blue rubber dryer balls instead). I guess once they had been compromised, they were more likely to be affected by even just the build-up on the walls of my own dryer.
