I have several sweaters I was planning on repurposing into butt-sweaters and I just received my order with 3 yds of wool interlock. So the question is, do I felt all this before making the covers, do I felt the sweaters and not the interlock, do I felt none of it? What is your preferred method?

This book feels good in your hands. The paper is heavyweight, and the illustrations flow perfectly.

I personally felt it all before sewing. I feel like it tightens the weave and helps hold more, plus then you don't have to be quite as careful when you are washing later. I wash and lanolize all my wool on delicate cycle in the machine, rather than by hand, because I know it's already been felted. That's my take!
