stains on tabs

The back of the tabs on several of our thirsties are stained. There are no stains on the body of the diapers. There are no stains on the front of the tabs.

Is there anything I can do to get rid of this. Its kind of a bad ad for cloth diapering since there are poop stains right in front when the diaper is closed and it happens to be the part you touch.

Any ideas? My parents are coming in a week and I'm really not looking forward to the comments about the stains.

?? Maybe try rubbing with soap and a nail brush or old toothbrush - if it's not on the PUL but the back of the velcro.......if it's on the PUL I'd rub with soap.....
Good luck and let us know!

Yes, the back of the velcro. I don't know why I didn't think of just scrubbing it. A little sleep deprived these days. I'll give it a try.
