PCOS & supply issues

Wondering if anyone knows anything about breastfeeding and polycystic ovarian syndrom? I have PCOS and was able to nurse my son until 3 1/2 months but he wasn't gaining any weight while we were nursing and we had to start supplementing. We're talking about having another baby and I'm nervous that history will repeat itself and I won't be able to nurse our next child. Breast feeding is so important to me and I want it so badly! If anyone has any advice I'll greatly appreciate anything!

I'm tired right now, but if you search PCOS on this board you'll get lots of answers.

Some women have luck with fenugreek to help supply. As well if you are taking metformin for your pcos symptoms that also can increase supply.

I have pcos & have no supply issues with this one. My understanding is it can be different with each baby so it may not be the same next time.

I had low supply with both of my boys, but Goat's Rue is an herb that we used that had the biggest effect on my supply. I also did Mother's Milk Tea, Fenugreek, oatmeal, etc. But the Goat's Rue was more specific for PCOS. I was still not able to fully supply either of the boys, but at least I had a little bit!

I don't have PCOS, but I have had huge supply issues due to milk transfer issues. I just started lactate support and have noticed a HUGE difference in just 24 hours. I am also am on domperidone
