What kind of yarn?

If you had a chance to open up a knitting shop (online and you'd be knitting the items...this base yarn wouldn't be for sale) and only wanted to use ONE yarn which would it be? It could be from any where and dyed by you or them. Only personal quirks would be you want ONE variety of the yarn. Example: Lindon Merino from 3IG. That would be for the main and the trim (if you got any).

Now tell me why.

Not sure I'm understanding your question, but based on your example, it wouldn't be Lindon Merino, it would be Galenas Merino - I so adore that yarn, I could just knit with it all the time, and when I wasn't knitting it I'd pet it and wear it and sleep in it and love it and hug it and squeeze it and name it George.

But I guess I am polyarnamus, since I'd hate to give up me Peace Fleece - but that doesn't mean I want a scarf of it.
