Introducing myself

Hi. I got a BFP yesterday at 14 dpo. After many negative (faint/hallucinatory) lines on those awful blue tests where a positive is supposed to look like this +, I finally sprung for the digital ones that actually use words. I have a 23 m.o. DD, and my due date based on O would be April 1 (based on LMP would be March 28). I plan to give birth in the same hospital-based BC where I birthed DD. I WOH. Am still nursing and cosleeping. Had been relying on the Pikkolo but am switching to the RS to give the lil bean his or her space. Extreme lactivist. TV-free, car-free. 38 y.o.

Welcome! I LOVE my Pikkolo, used it with DS3 daily. Best carrier ever.

Welcome and congratulations, PiePie! We'd love to have your intro in the Introductions thread!

I've looked at the Pikkolos online, but we've a Beco family. Do you know how they compare?

how did i miss the intro thread?

i actually have found the beco II slightly comfier but DD refused to cooperate with getting into it, so that was that. I would say that the clear advantage of the P is that the kid can face out.

I always gloss over the threads in the sticky section, too......

Welcome!

We're still co-sleeping and nursing here too, but DD is 4-1/2. We're now in the process of weaning now because I'm not up for tandem nursing a kid that old, but she can co-sleep as long as she likes. Or rather, she can co-sleep with her father if I get too big and uncomfortable with three in a bed. I plan to go sleep in her bed by myself if it gets too crowded.
