Diapers now, fasteners later?

Is there something I'm missing here... I have all the fabric cut out for my diapers, but I haven't decided yet if I'm going to go snap or velcro. I can just get the diapers sewn up now, and add the fasteners once I stop waffling and buy whichever one I decide on, can't I?

Or is that a silly idea?

Why not. You can even try snappis and see how they work with your dipes.

The snaps are applied last and the velcro is also sewn on last. Go ahead and make your dipes and then decide later, if that's what you want to do.

I always do my snaps or Aplix last. I have also not gotten around to it, couldn't afford the snaps at the time, and just bought the cheap pins and pin them like regular diapers for a while. So, wait, why not. Kymberli

I forgot to mention that I use both velcro and a snap press to apply plastic resin snaps. You can use Snappis to hold the diaper closed, though.
