My dd2 has been getting quite a lot of nappy rash, on dh's insistance we swiched to 'sposies and the rash cleared up : She back in cloth now but I wondered if anyone has any tips on keeping her bum peachy!

I use terries mainly and i use my own cloth wipes with a water, olive oil, lavender oil concoction (i used to use white vinegar too for thrush but i've not needed that in a while)

hope someone can offer some tips

Letting her bum thoroughly dry between changes helps a lot. I use that as play time and let DS kick and interact with me while he dries out. I also use the hair dryer on cool to dry him, and also let him play under a toy arch thing without a diaper for 15 min or so. That and frequent changes should do a lot to keep rash away.

What variety of Nappy are you using? There are pocket style nappies such as the bum genius 3.0 one size. The pocket styles pull moisture away from their skin and keep them a bit more dry.

Have you also tried tea tree oil in your wipe solution? I add a little bit of body wash in mine that contains tea tree oil.
