Bloody show! - Update. C-section for tomorrow. - Page 2

Hmmm. I'm not experienced, but there are women who don't get that much pain up front. I think it would be worth calling your practioner if you haven't yet. But that's just my thought...

I called him yesterday upon the initial bloody show..
He told me it was great progress, but until contractions were 5 min apart, we arent in an emergency situation yet. hhaha

So, I'm just waitin it out. Gonna nap and eat, and get some good movie watchin in!

My nipples feel really sore which is strange, but im thinking unrelated.

Sounds like early labor to ME!!!! It is possible to have not much that you would describe as pain, absolutely!!!

Have you considered checking your own cervix?

Even if you are in labor (I still think probably ), the movie and relaxing is perfect! I can't believe my toddler is still napping. I should be doing the same!

I second this. It's very easy!

Yep, IF you can reach, that is.....that's the only hard part for me!

Wouldn't it be nice to have a really easy painless labor, or even an orgasmic birth. Hoping the best for you!!!:

I hadnt really thought of it no... Isnt it best to keep our hands out?? I dont really know what im looking for. but I do know I can reach it. I felt it a couple days ago in the bath, soft!!!

It is best to keep hands out. Totally. The only reason I ask is because of your bulging perineum comment. Most likely that is normal from the pressure of heavy baby and you being so close to the end, but if it continues and continues and you're wondering about painless labor, the bulging COULD be baby's head which is why I asked....

Go with your instincts, mama, it is best to not try to fix what isn't broken, right?

Well crap.

Again, the mucus has stopped for the night, I think... my last wipe was clean (and after pooping every single hour since 2pm) of mucus. none.

and the baby is now picked up his normal excitement and is going looney in there, as usual. After 2 days of decreased movement, we thought for sure he was positioning himself and saving energy for birth... guess not.

I give up. I think my early labor has ended.

I can't lie and say im not frustrated.

keep your chin up, you are close to the end still one way or the other! Way closer than me as I am only 35 weeks!

Look how far you've come!!!

Mucus has started again, appears to be clear/yellow/whitish.... But I think the loose BMs have stopped.. but I haven't eaten yet (AHAH!)

Still not thinking this is it, so oh well.

My dr's appt is tomorrow, so at least he can tell me what progress I actually DID make!

Amber- Oh hun, it can be so stop and go, I have been having consistent painful contractions all day long. Since 3:30 AM... UGH I am wondering if they are going to peter out or not. HMMMMMM....

I hope today is your day mama!!!!! You deserve some danged relief. It's killing me over here.

I told my DH about your contractions for 5 days now and even HE was like 'good lord! that poor lady!"
So if a man can understand , you KNOW its bad!

OKay, now im having consistent BH contractions. Every 6.5 minutes. lasting anywhere from 50-120 seconds...

I cant tell if its just because of where hes sitting??? Does that cause contractions? Feels like he's pushing outward.

well, seems like the mucus has gone back to thick white discharge...
I spent most the day sleeping, so the one BM I had was loose, but haven't had one since..

I'm guessing all my symptoms of early labor are over.. But it *is* nighttime, and for the 3 days most of the signs disappear until the afternoon... So, We'll see.

Im really losing my hope on him coming soon now.

You're going to drive yourself crazy. Just try (I KNOW it's hard) to remember the baby will come when it's ready. And do keep in mind, the *average* pregnancy length is actually 41 weeks. Try not to put yourself on a timer. It'll just make every day agonizing. Ask me how I know.

More mucus and blood today,
Dr says Im 4cm's and seems confident I will continue to dilate. He is hoping I go into labor tonight or tomorrow (DOUBT IT!) But it was nice to have my dr so optimistic. I'm almost halfway there!!!!
