what is the youngest age you could put a baby in this carrier?

it says they can be worn in this from birth but i was wondering if anyone ever put a newborn in.... i am used to seeing newborns more in slings than this style carrier

if you don't know what it looks like, here is a link http://foxdenlane.com/store/ellaroo-...h2hrlu3diptss2

I used an EllaRoo Meit Tai with my baby when she was a few (about 4) weeks old. She was a big baby, but it worked well for us.

We started using ours at about 2 months. I like it because the panel is a bit more narrow than others I've tried, so it's more comfortable for DS to have his legs out.
The Mei Hip is great, too.

I have a different brand mei tai, got it when DD2 was 6 weeks and it was great. I wish we'd had it from the beginning, I think these are fine for newborns.
