Talk to me about your fav night time dipe solution

After 5 cloth diapered kids you'd think Id have figured it out but alas, my last babe is a heavy wetter and the FB we used for the others aren't cutting it with her. I currently have a few goodmamas and swaddlebees that we use and like a lot but I'd like to get away from the BSWWs that end up so stinky.

Can anyone recommend a night time diapering system that works for you? I'd really like to stay away from synthetics.

A prefold with a bamboo doubler works great for us, but it's very bulky and my dd is not a fan. We use a FB with 2 inserts and have minimal leaking, mostly because she's very skinny and I ordered medium FBs, so there's some leg gapping.

How about a Bamboo fitted (like Bamboozle or Drybees Gone Natural) with a hemp doubler hidden under the soaker and a wool cover? I never had wool work at night and prefer the fleece Dancing Bears soaker, but you said no synthetics.

Pockets with hemp stuffing works for us.

my system is a prefold and a cover along with changing my baby promptly regardless of the hour.

We use hemp doublers in our pockets and it works great for us. You're trying to avoid synthetics, but we love the BG AIOs because the new ones have pockets. That way you don't have several inserts that you're trying to stuff.

Have you tried EC at night? I think you might be surprised at how easy it is. My kids sleep sooo much better without a wet diaper on their bodies all night long.

It's very do-able.

All my kids wear/wore the Very Baby Simply Nights diaper. It's a fitted diaper. Ours are hemp, with side snaps, and two extra soakers that snap in, with a fleece lining on the diaper itself and the soakers, for dryness. They wear wool over it-- either Disana or my hand-knit wool. I love these diapers. My son and one of my DDs were extremely heavy wetters, and these were our only solution. The diaper absorbs more than a disposable.
