Most people I know do not homeschool and since we're starting this year for the first time, it has been very hard.
They go on and on about how I need time (which I agree, I do but whatever) and how the kids should go to school.
All the negativity gets you down!
Finally! A fun benefit from staying at home! School here starts August 6. My in-laws just called to say they want our kids from the 14 through the 31. So while everyone else is going to school, we'll be flying the kids from Arizona to Oklahoma for some time with grandma/grandpa!
Fifteen days of time for myself
(though I will miss those buggers).
And then? In November? We're off to Disneyland...DURING THE WEEK.
I love how we can continue to do what we want without being tied down to the school calendar!!!!

. We went everywhere, doing whatever we wanted, whenever we wanted - it was one of the best advantages of homeschooling.
