Our first full-week weekly thread! How're you holding up?

In the week and a half since my BFP, I've gone to bed early exactly twice. Some nights I go to bed at normal time. But more often than not, I'm finding myself up late after trying to sleep.

And then I'm tired during the day... need to lay down... which probably keeps me up the next night...

It's a frustrating cycle!

doing ok with the pregnancy no morning sickness just like my last one... I am tired more often. I need to see my chiropractor about my back.

Starting to think about how to get my son (who will be 3 next Feb.) used to the idea of not having all our attention...

I am having all day sickness, am hungry constantly, and I have to pee a lot. The funny thing about about being hungry is if I don't eat I feel sick if I do eat I still feel sick. babies! I'm enjoying it all though!

I am just waiting with baited breath for the time my period is due to pass. I'm so scared I'm going to start bleeding, especially since it's so early, I don't really have any symptoms. I am peeing a lot. A lot! And I am starting to notice tea and coffee tasting a little weird, but that's it. No sore boobs yet, no nausea and no fatigue. I really don't expect any of it for a few more weeks, but I will sure feel better when it happens!

Spoke too soon. Took my vitamin and promptly threw up.

hahaha, so sorry finn'smama!

tired here too, but not exhausted. hard to tell if it's from our travels this weekend or pg or both. shrug. actually have very little appetite, but maybe it's the weather? slightly sore boobs, though, with needles in the nipples sometime.. sort of like letdown used to feel way back when. am looking forward to next week, 6 weeks, when maybe i will start "feeling" pregnant? although sort of enjoying not feeling too much pregnant.. the days when i feel something and then don't are such a rollercoaster of worry : am working hard on just going with the flow and not trying to obsess over whether this one will stick or not.

we start interviewing midwives next week! that is something we are looking forward to!

Feeling fine here, which I'm not sure is a good thing. I always worry when I don't 'feel' preggo right away. My boobs were sore last week, but that seems to be better. I have a slight funny taste in my mouth, and I am a bit tired. But other than that, I really feel, well, normal. I always am super stressed at the beginning. I had a MC at 6 weeks before DS1 was born and so I always struggle till I make it past that mark. Couple more weeks to go I guess.

I'm crabby and sleep deprived. Which is why I am on the computer and not doing anything useful!
I did get everyone dressed and we walked to the park for some outside run around time between rain showers. I should get up and get busy....but I am sooooo tired! LOL If I eat I feel sick and if I don't I still feel sick. I did eat and now feel yucky. Oh well. All part of this : game!

I'm exhausted, but that's because I didn't get to sleep until after midnight and then DD was up at 4:30am. I managed to get 2-30 minute naps out of her up to 6:45am, but I'm running on very little sleep and trying to handle a toddler who's also sleep deprived. So things are kinda miserable around here.

Still no real sickness; I had a bit of nausea after breakfast, but not much at all and easily distractible. I looked back at my blog from last pregnancy, and I didn't really start feeling sickness until 5-6 weeks. So I guess we'll see at the end of the week.

I keep finding myself twisting oddly or getting up too fast or something and pulling something painful in my abdomen. That doesn't make me a happy camper. One, it hurts! Two, it makes me worry.

rollergirl -- We interview our first midwife on Thursday. She's an hour away, so we'll make a day of it. I'm hoping it goes well and that her practice can get partially covered under our insurance!

It's still super early here but I'm already having a few symptoms. I've been getting just slightly nauseous throughout the day yesterday and today. I have too much saliva which is disgusting. I'm having twinges and cramps in my abdomen. And I'm tired.

l finally looked up my "due date" and it is April 4th. I soo hope this works out, I think that'd be the perfect time of year for us. Our girls are Aug and Sept. It was really hard to be big pregnant in the summer. And we have soo many birthdays from Aug-Dec that it will be nice to have one on the other end of the calendar.

I was going to go for a run today and started walking and never really felt ready to run, so I walked 3 miles instead of running. By the time I got home I was soo hot and tired! I felt like I had run a ton. Strange! We'll see how I feel when I go lift tonight.

we are due on Easter (4-4-2010) also!:

Hey all. I just tested today, and was stunned to get a BFP. I had completely ruled out this month, but here we are!

DH is at work until 5, and then we have friends coming in to town tonight after 9ish (and will be here a few days) and I am a little bummed that the timing worked out this way. I would love to have some quiet time with him to celebrate, but i can't not tell him tonight, and we can't turn our friends away, so it is what it is. Hopefully they will be as thrilled as we are. ::

I am feeling relatively normal right now, but I know that will soon change. Weeks 6-16 have kicked my butt the last two times.

Congrats ivymae!

Oh, I had no idea that April 4th is Easter this next year. Wow. Cool to know someone with the exact same due date.

*sigh*

So I met with Dr. C today....

He started by looking at some basic intake information... I haven't had the u/s yet but he wanted to "work me in" today because he got a call from my nutritionist telling him that my sugars have been running high.

Anyway, he was looking at my information and I told him that I wanted to try for a VBAC, and he laughed at me. He says there are too many risk factors for him to feel comfortable attending me for a VBAC.

BUT! He is going to send me to the University of Washington so I can see a cardiologist and endocrinologist and perinatologist and specialized nutritionist who will all manage my care. He is still willing to do all the prenatal care that the UW wants me to do (read: labs, weight checks, measurements, etc....) so I don't have to go to the UW to pee in a cup every month... that is nice... but he will NOT take me for my labor and delivery unless I agree to a repeat cesarean.

I knew it was coming, but now to know for sure.... it just makes me want to cry.

Riverbeauty. If all goes well with the other drs, will he reconsider?

I'm feeling really, really normal. The only symptom I've had so far is being STARVING. I started worrying about how not-pregnant I feel driving home from work tonight...then I remembered I felt the same way when I was pregnant with DS and then right around 6 weeks was slammed with morning sickness, weepiness, and fatigue. Soooooo, I'm going to try to enjoy this smooth sailing in case it doesn't last.

sorry to hear Riverbeauty. That stinks.

Michellebelle, I'm with you. No real symptoms...and it concerns me a little, since the last pregnancy I had, I kept thinking to myself, wow, I just don't feel pregnant at all, and we ended up with a blighted ovum...so, I'm a little concerned...but I'm trying to just be happy about the BFP and let each day come.
No, but I may be able to VBAC at the UW.... with a midwife...

Mark me up as another who thinks she doesn't feel enough pregnant. I've decided I'm just going to enjoy it until week 6, and then I'll worry.

I'm so freaking TIRED!!! I got up at 1pm, and didn't really do anything today, and yet I'm totally wiped. It's like I'm pregnant or something!

when we started TTC, I went on Ebay and bought 25 pregnancy tests, just little test strips. I've taken one every day for the last three days, and I'm ALWAYS surprised to see the faint pink line there. It's so early, it was our first cycle TTC (sorry!), that I still have 19 tests left.
