Leaving/Xposted from FYT

Ladies,
I am making some changes around here, and reprioritizing where I am spending my time.

My final push came this morning at church.
One of the men that preached, mentioned something that really struck home. Its something I have been pondering recently, but was not ready to do.
It was along the lines of spending my time in other peoples business, rather then focusing on Christ, my family, my home and those around me in real life, in that order.
I have let things get out of order, and I have allowed the first one to be more important of late. ie., this board.
I could try and "cut back" on here, but in reality, going cold turkey would be far better.

If anyone would like to keep in contact, just PM me for my email addy, sometime in the next couple of days.

I have learned much on this board, and I may come back in the future.
Especially if we are able to have a little one, and I need some AP advise and support.
Meanwhile, I am going to focus on getting my Keeper of the Home status back under control.
I have much to do around here, and I want everything in its place before snow flies.
Blessings to you all,
Paula

I'll miss you! Totally understand, though, as I've not been around much, for many of the same reasons.

I'm sorry to see you go. Even though I've lurked a lot, I've enjoyed reading your posts and have valued your opinions and comments. I know how you feel about going cold turkey. It's what I've had to do, from time to time, on other sites b/c of similar reasons.

I hope it is fruitful for you- I need to cut back as well- I have some serious getting this home in order business to do around here as well.

Goodness, is that sermon online? I have been thinking about this a lot too. I have cut back on posting, but I lurk like it's nobody's business. I'll check one more time in a few days, but, like you, I'm cutting back too.

God bless you.

No its not online. We house church with a number of other families. I think we total 80.
Best to you as well.
I am going to "cut the cord" Tuesday morning.
We got rid of the TV at the first of the year, and sadly, I have let the computer take its place.
I need for the internet to be a tool, rather then what has become a bit of an addiction.

I am going to continue with giving TF classes in my home this fall and winter.

I'll miss you too, but I totally understand. I regularly take breaks and put focus back into my family and life.
