Convince DH that my pregnant self should have a green juicer.

I really want to buy a green juicer. I'm 9 weeks pregnant and I just feel like having a shot of dark green vegetable juice daily, would be great for my baby. I just don't feel like I'm eating enough raw dark leafy's because they just don't appeal to me at all, but I could handle a shot of them juiced.

Here's the problem. My husband says that it sounds "gimmicky" and that I don't really need it, and that I'm going to have to convince him otherwise, since money is not very abundant right now. Ugh.

Can anyone please help me with that? I'll probably need sources too. Not just "I've heard that....."

I've picked out this one, it's about $100: http://www.amazon.com/Hurricane-Stai.../dp/B000E7L2K6

Thanks so much!

I don't have any sources at the moment, but what about just starting with green smoothies. Throw a couple handfuls of dark leafy greens in your blender with some cream or coconut milk or yogurt, frozen berries, fruit, banana.

Check Craig's List. I bought mine for $16, barely out of the box. Works great and I've used for over a year.

Yes, another alternative is frozen fruit and organic baby spinach in the blender, with some mineral water.
