Help me find this childrens book?

When I was a kid I had this book and I want to get it for my kids, I can't remember the title though. It's about a rabbit who takes a basket out into the woods in search of things for his mother or grandmothers (can't remember which) birthday. He gathers an item in every color. OR, he may be helping a girl to do this. My memory is fuzzy.

OMG! I just saw this book the other day and thought it was totally cute.

And of course, now I cannot remember the title. I hope someone can help you because I'd like to add it to DD's wishlist!
