DEfending the choice to HS thread?

I'm sure there used to be a sticky that had resources websites letters etc with secular reasons for homeschooling. I believe it was starte by someone who wanted to send something to her Uncle to defend/explain their reasons to hs to him.
Any idea where it is? I have just broken the news to my mum who took it really well but has lots of questions. I was hoping to send her some links to read so she gets a better understanding of hs.
Her first question was but who will teach him? She has had no exposure to hs at all and didn't believe me when I told her there are people in NL who hs lol!

Any help in finding suitable links or the thread I mentioned would be great!

This thread, Husband against HS, advice?, has links to other good discussion threads on the topic.

This one, common misconceptions about homeschooling, is a good one.

And here's the thread you might be referring to that was a sticky:
non-religious articles in info/defense of homeschooling
