So, after giving in to DH's Dominos craving on Saturday night for dinner & realizing once the pizza got here, that I really wanted it too, I knew I COULD NOT give in to the craving I felt for Chinese food yesterday. It came out of nowhere & was really powerful...so weird.
Anyway-for the 1st time in a couple weeks, I prepared a full, healthy meal...one of DH's favorites. I cut up a bunch of fresh veggies & steamed them, grilled up some chicken & made brown rice. And I make a sauce with some organic soy sauce, garlic, ginger, crushed red pepper, lime & cilantro.
I was so shocked that after all the prep & cooking, when I sat down to eat, it actually tasted good & I enjoyed it.
I have wanted berries & even a grapefruit here or there. Carrots & Tomatoes have tasted good too. But I have mostly only wanted turkey & cheese sandwiches, chicken salad, tuna (light & in moderation) grilled cheese, eggs...simple stuff...actually lots of cheese in general...it has been a must. Because of GD & trying to watch the weight gain, I do have to watch my carbs & sugars which has made it even tougher at times-I know I should be getting more greens in but just feel blah sometimes about them. Some of the things mentioned on here have sounded sooooo good...i haven't had chef boyardee or ramen since college but man...that sounds awesome right now.
So-my brother's wedding was Friday & while we were in the bridal suite getting ready, I ended up having some champagne. It's hard to tell how much because the glasses were so tiny & I did refill because it tasted so yummy. But it was just one night & I really do think it was ok to go ahead & have some...
