The baby's been poking and wiggling for a while but no big kicks yet. This evening, I was laying on my bed and told the 2 kiddos with me that they could talk to her (yes, I say "her" even though we won't know for sure till the 11th) so they did and she kicked so hard it made me jump and it took a moment for me to fugure out what the heck that was!

I grabbed dd's hand and smooshed it onto my fundus and said "talk to her some more!" Each kid took a turn (they ran to get ds) talking and she kicked each one of them! I just laughed the whole time, she totally kicked on demand! I hope it keeps up, at least some of the time...that's a neat trick!

So sweet... my first would famously not preform (like her momma, my mother would say) but this one doesn't seem to care one way or another. Awesome that your other kiddos got to feel! I bet they loved that!

That's wonderful I remember my 2nd DS started really kicking and being visible on the day he was 20 weeks, on my birthday!

I can't wait for it to be more reliable so the kids can feel and see it- they're going to love it!

I'm 21+ weeks so I've been feeling the kicks for a little while, but hubby felt it for the first time today. It was so fun to share it with him. Maybe I'll get tired of it, but for now I could just lie down all day and feel her moving - I love it!

I don't think you'll get tired of it. Maybe for a moment, but not in general. I know when dd would push her feet into my ribs I was annoyed from time to time but over all, the movement has alwayys been magical and something I missed when I thought we were done having babies.
