Can I save oil from deep frying with lemon in it?

I made churros yesterday - the first time I've deep-fried anything since a disastrous doughnut incident in my youth - and the recipe called for putting a whole half-lemon into the oil while frying the churros. I've strained the oil and want to save it - can I? It's rice bran oil. If I save it should I only use it for making churros again, or would it work for anything that tastes OK with a slight lemony flavour?

I'd say it's fine for anything that you don't mind taking on a bit of lemon flavor. We never really deep fry, but I think onion rings, calamari, or cheese raviloli would all be really yummy with a hint of lemon. (These are my favorite three deep fried things! )
