Anyone thinking about diapers yet? - Page 2

We practice EC - so I use cloth as a 'backup' and am not too fussy about the nappies. I have 'newlife' and prefold and just plain terry squares. I really like totsbots bamboozles. But as far as I am aware - we get different brands in the UK than in USA and Canada?
I highly recommend EC though - if you want info or advice - I hope I can be your lady!

Well, I was all excited about my garage sale find yesterday- 6 Bum Genius 3.0, each with additional newborn insert and hemp insert for $8 each. Actually, she sold me all 6 plus a diaper liner for $40. I've never used BG, but they are in great shape and for that price I couldn't pass them up!

I swore I wasn't going to buy anything until 2nd trimester... but I couldn't resist.

Not exactly. What little thought I've given it is this: we had a diaper service with DD and i loved it. I think I want a diaper service again for at least the first six months.

Otherwise, I'll buy prefolds. That's what our last diaper service had, we already had the wraps, and they're super-easy with a non-mobile baby. I'm not thrilled with them for crawling and walking, but for a newborn, I'm all about cheap and easy.
