HeY! I'm new.....
I have been reading a lot of the posts on here for the last few days and decided that I want to start contributing, so I joined!
I found this site when I was asking someone for advice on sleeping for my son and they mentioned getting a subscription to Mothering magazine. I was getting fed up of all the "main stream" books out there that are so anti co-sleeping... I have no friends that co-sleep and I was having a hard time finding good advice! So I am excited to recieve my first issue of Mothering magazine, which seems to think the same way I do on a lot of things (as do many of you it seems!) I NEVER thought I would be a co-sleeping/cloth diapering/attachment parenting kind of parent, but I just followed my heart and here I am..... and I love it!! My son is almost 6 mths and quite a high needs baby, but that's ok! Because one day he will be 16 and locked in his bedroom *sob* and never want to cuddle to snuggle with me.....
This site is like a breath of fresh air!
: woo hoo!! It's about time!
PS: I did manage to find a great "main stream" for helping my son to sleep. It's called "the no-cry sleep solution" (I'm sure many of you know it) it's great! we have only tried one night of the teaching so far, because we just got it, but hopefully it will improve my son's sleeping habits. I'm not wishing for miracles, just improvement. Fingers crossed!
