Ft. Huachuca / Sierra Vista midwives?

I just found out I am pregnant and will be due in March-April. I am looking to have a homebirth. Right now we are stationed at Ft. Hood, TX but will be moving to Ft. Huachuca in October. Does anyone know of any homebirth midwives in that area? I am also a doula and want to get plugged into the birth network.

Stephanie Fritz is the local midwife in Sierra Vista, and she is wonderful! She works with Billye Matthews out of Benson a lot as well, and she is equally wonderful. Both were at my daughter's birth and I loved them.

Stephanie Fritz attended my hb, as well as Billye (I think she lives in Benson) and Sharon (Tucson?). They are all really nice ladies and I know either Billye or Sharon (Sharon, I think) is mwherbs here on MDC. There is also a really nice MW from Bisbee that I met, though I don't recall her name.

Okay, I have heard of everyone you mentioned except for Sharon. Is she an assistant or a practicing midwife in SV? The one in Bisbee is Diane...I have spoken with her as well.

Bisbee is Diane Gregg, haven't met her but Billye trained under her or worked with her. They all actually work together but Diane covers more the Bisbee/Willcox/Douglas area for the most part. Sharon was also at my birth, she was more in the doula role, helping out, etc. I think her last name is Rust? She is mwherbs on here.
