I think you can look up those tv sites for a streaming option, though. I have a friend that I think does that, I can ask her where she finds it.

We don't have cable but watch them each week online. You can google watch weeds online and come up with some links. DH can find it the same night it airs most of the time, and for sure by the following day. We have the best luck with graboid because it's file sharing -so someone loads it almost instantly - but it costs money after the trial period (which is worth it to us).

I love how pro-breastfeeding she has been as soon as someone mentions (or gives Stevie Ray formula.

I download Weeds from Ez Tv. They have lots of shows on that site.

I thought the circ part was sad, but I expected it was coming because they are Jewish after all. They made a point of showing how the rabbi wasn't even into it and just wanted the money and then Shane made the comment about how barbaric it was...

The part with Andy nursing was hilarious. My DH was laughing so hard he couldn't breathe.

Was anyone else disappointed when she chose the Mexican over Andy? I don't know why but I really wanted her to run away with Andy and start a new life.

Well, weeds has gone downhill for me, in a way that it can never live upto the standard they set in earlier seasons. ever again.

The show has lost its humor and now relies on shock tactics to keep us engaged. It's not why I tuned into Weeds the first time and I stopped watching in the middle of the season.

The way they handled the rape scene was deeply mysoginistic and I fail to see how a woman could write and direct something so sexist, so wrong, and then just brush it under the rug calling it "rough sex"

Nancy goes back to the drug lord and Andy is STILL hanging onto her like white on rice and doing whatever she tells him. The baby doesn't have a dad on the birth certificate so of course, she pulls him in again. After, she left him for a rapist. The circ. scene was just icing on the cake. Her breastfeeding Andy and then getting all defensive when the baby is fed formula? irrelevant and it doesn't redeem her at all.


Nancy's impulsive personality and her danger addiction is just getting to be too much for me. It was hard to watch her make harmful choices for her family and herself. It's even harder to see her portray a shell of a woman who is unlikeable and is controlled by her love of danger.

I don't watch it any longer but I just wanted to share my opinion.
I'm sad that one of my favorite shows has deteriorated once again, just like the L word! Showtime, what's goin' on? Ugh!

I agree it's not nearly as good as it was the first couple seasons. But I still enjoy it, and know that it can be extreme at times (like say, Shane and his mom's photos) and make me shake my head or sit there a bit in shock. But, needless to say, I'm still a fan.

I think the show is clever for some of those same reasons. Here they have a constant stream of fairly shocking, unbelievable string of events, yet I still somehow believe it, more or less. I can't even watch sci-fi, for the most part, because I sit there and roll my eyes at how ridiculously implausible everything is, so the fact that I'm not doing that with Weeds means something!



Really, when you think about everything they've shown, it's completely and utterly ridiculous. But they make it work!

The rape scene was awful and the fact she went on to marry him really is just too much. A man capable of rape is just not redeemable imo. Nancy is a horrible mother. I actually liked her in the early seasons but it's impossible to like her now. But I still find the show entertaining.

I couldn't help check this thread... but I'm glad you two didn't give it away b/c we are going to watch it tonight (hopefully, if my kids go to bed before we are too tired).

I love Celia doing her Nancy impression -- I laughed hystrically at those scenes! It was an ok season, I think they're running out of ways to keep the show going, but I am still finding it to be good summer entertainment

I was watching it, and thinking "Where is my cliff hanger?" and then it happened. Oh my, Oh my.

I think Nancy is a lost cause, I don't think she is a redeemable character at this point. I actually think the only person who will walk away unscathed is Silas and maybe the baby.

Wow! I just watched the finale last night and WOW! I feel so bad for Shane. He was such a good kid. Nancy really messed him up. To see her gloating about Esteban's daughter, it made me sick. She is no better. I worry for Shane (especially now lol). He's going to have a rough life. He's not like Silas where he can just brush stuff off.

And yes I know that these are not real people.
