Who do your kids look like?

I'm always curious about this.

Our oldest son is the spitting image of me. Right down to the cowlick, freckles and changing-color-eyes.

Our younger son looks exactly like dh only blonde. He's much bigger than our older son was at that age, again like dh.

But personality-wise, the younger one is just like me and the older one is just like dh. I just think its so weird how it turned out.

Mine look a lot more like DH than me. There's a pic of us on 4th of July in my user album (but DH and 2 of the kids' eyes are puffy due to being at my mom's house w/cats).

My son looks just like his dad, but he makes a lot of my same facial expressions so in that way he looks like me too.

DS looks like me, but he has his father's feet.

DS and DD look like each other, but they don't strongly resemble me or DH. DS kind of looks like my brother sometimes, and DD kind of looks like DH's sister sometimes, but mostly they just look like themselves, although there is a general family resemblance.

So far, at 7 months, my ds looks just like his daddy at the same age. He does appear to have my blue eyes, though. I hope they don't change. It's the only way we can tell who the mother is!

I think DS looks like me - now
But he deff looks like DH when DH was a child!!! (its the glasses of course - they also have the same lips and nose! lol) - Neither of us looked anything alike as baby babys - newborns you know - though!

There are so many times that during the day, DS looks at me and just looks so much like his daddy does in this here photo!!! lol

I think the thing is - both DH and I look similar! - We have been comfused as siblings before when all of us (him and myself and his sister) are together! Yuck! lol

My dd looks some like me and some like dh, but mostly like my little sister, who takes after my mother's mother, LOL!
It's funny though because my niece looks a lot more like me than her parents (my bro and SIL).

DS looks exactly like his Dad. DD looks exactly like me. Personalities are similar too, right down to the sleep problems and the inhaling food with DS.

DS1 looks a LOT like me. His general personality is more like me, but his behaviors are like his dad. (DH) DS2 looked a lot like me at birth, but his hair has gotten very light like DH's side of the family, but his eyes are just like mine. DS1 has hazel/grey eyes. Mine are true brown.

DS2 seems more like his father in general temperament so far.

DS1: At various times, he's looked just like his dad (my ex) and just like me/my dad. He's now 16, and looks like...ds1. I can see flickers of both me and my ex in him, but he doesn't really look like either of us.

DD1: She looks mostly like me, but she has my MIL's jawline and mouth shape. My oval face shape has been transformed into more of a heart or something.

DS2: DH. He's like a clone. The first time MIL saw him (other than when he was an infant), she turned to dh and said, "not fair - why do you get one that looks like you?" and a family friend calls him "mini me" after the guy in the Austin Powers movie, because he looks so much like dh.

DD2: She's only a month old. So far, I can't see anybody in her, except that she has my dad's cleft chin.

Our oldest is very much dh's son. Right down to having his earlobes. He's built like dh, tall and lean. Just a few shades lighter than him.

Our younger two got the benefit of dh's wonderful Ethiopian genes and it's pretty obvious but even with that, they look more like me as far as facial features and build. Short and broad shouldered, and they have *my* earlobes.

I forgot, too--our youngest child looked just like my younger brother when he was about 3-8 mo old. They share *no* blood relation or ethnic heritage. It was amazing how ds resembled my bro.

My ds looks like me--the light complexion, blue eyes, leaner figure. He sorta of looks like my brother did when he was little. My dd, who is 3 months, looks more like my DH, she has darker hair and his eyes. She is also heavier set like him, but my son was a chunky baby too, so I can't go by that!

Most people say DD looks just like me. I don't think so. She has some of my features but I see quite a bit of DH in her especially in the shape of her eyes, her height, and lean build. Now she has my coloring (black hair/brown eyes) so I think that fools people into thinking she's a clone of me. To me DD looks more like DH's sister. DD's baby pictures and SIL's baby pictures look alike. In fact there's a photo of SIL as a baby that is so identical to DD that it's eerie.

Half the time people say DS looks exactly like me, and the other half that he looks like DH. I don't think he really looks like either of us, though he doeshave my eyes and mouth and his dad's chin.

Abigail looks a lot like I did, except she has grey/blue eyes and I have brown eyes, her hair is thicker and straighter, mine was finer and lighter and a little wavier.

Sophia has her dad's nose, but other than that looks like neither one of us. I sometimes think she was switched at birth.
