I am getting them out August 12 (all 4- two are impacted) and I ovulate August 21st. Do you think I will fee well enough to dtd?

I had two wisdom teeth out a few years ago (and need the other two out whenever I'm able to schedule it.) I was already having pain with those teeth before they were removed (they were half out and hard to brush and badly decayed) and, by a day or two after the oral surgury, I was in LESS pain than I'd been in for months before! I'm pretty sure I was 100% healed by a week or so later.

But those teeth weren't impacted (like my other two wisdom teeth are.) Removing impacted teeth might take a bit longer to heal, since it's more invasive surgury. Still, I can't imagine it taking more than a week or two.

As far feeling well enough to DTD, there are many, many factors. There's gentle DTD and, um, "more vigorous" DTD. And it's not like you're having surgury in or near the area in question. The biggest question, IMO, is how long you'll need to be on pain meds, and whether or not you're comfortable being on those meds when you might be pg.

Thanks. I think I'm OK with meds- I should be off them by implantation. I'm going back to work 5 days later, so FX to be okay! I'm also a big whimp when it comes to pain- especially mouth pain.

I had my 4 widsom teeth removed over 10 years ago, it was done on a Friday and I was back at work on Monday. 3 of the 4 were impacted. The weekend was rough but by Monday I was fine.
