Introducing Davin Charles

Davin Charles entered the world on Wed July 2nd at 6:44pm. He was 7lbs 10oz, 20 inches long, 38w4ds. It was the homebirth/birthing tub birth that I dreamed of.....well, I really didn't want the 40 hours of labor : (not counting early labor)!!!! It was so great to be at home with my DH, mom, midwife and in the pushing phase, my chiropractor. My lower back hurt SOOOOO BAD during each and every contraction. It was amazing to have her come and give me and adjustment during labor. She even helped push him down thru my back as I was pushing in the tub. It was great. I was so tired by then and she helped so much. :

2 cool spiritual things were that he was born the day after a solar eclipse and he was born in his sack. He is one special little guy. He is so content and alert.

We are all super happy and loving our new little one.
