Being Induced -- UPDATE: She's Here! See post #10

I went to my appt today at 37w4d and my BP has been creeping up a little and I have been having headaches that may or may not be related to PIH. They decided that it was probably a good idea to go ahead an induce and not risk something wacky with the BP. I'm actually really proud to have gotten this far with a reasonable BP and no bedrest.

I was already 4cm and 80% effaced. Pit started at 7:05. Hopefully it won't be too long.

Think good thoughts for us.

We are thrilled to announce the arrival of

7lbs 1oz
19" long

Mama and baby are healthy and happy. We should be home from the birth center on Thursday night. It ended up being a rather wild totally natural unmedicated birth. I'll post the birth story soon.

We are all feeling very blessed.
