Free Breast Pump?

Expecting baby in August and will need to go back to work shortly after. I desperately need a breast pump but am extremely low on cash. Anyone know where I could get a FREE or cheap one?

I would ask at your local WIC office, if you are eligible for WIC.

I'll second WIC. If you qualify it may even be FREE (and they give out nice ones, not cheapies). Or if you don't have the lump sum you can rent one from your hospital. Some insurance even covers the rental. I think it's generally around $15 a month? And the hosp ones are the best you can get!

WIC. Also, you can call around to see if any of your local LC's offer free breast pumps. I know a LC in my area (Ohio) who will offer free breastpumps for those who are on medicaid.

My pump is $70 a month from the hosp and insurance doesn't cover unless medically necessary.
