And directions:

We'll be the ones eating cider donuts. I'm about 5'5", average build, really short brown hair. I'll have a 4-year-old girl and a 3-year-old boy with me.
That sounds like a great idea! And then we can figure out where we're going inside the orchard. I'll be grabbing some cider donuts while there too! yumm!

I'm short, with short brown'ish hair and a three year old boy with me! :

I hope everyone can make it, it's so nice to meet new people!

We'll be there too. I'll be the one with the 3 year old boy wearing a red "Cars" hat, and I'll either be wearing the baby in a Mei Tai, or if my back still isn't doing good, my DH will be there wearing the baby. I look forward to seeing you all!

Count me in! I just got home from a trip to Arizona for a funeral so I missed the beginning of this thread.

I'm in Farmington so Glastonbury isn't too much of a hike for me.

Anyone else planning on doing peaches? DD is allergic to blueberries...

I've got the very vocal 2 year old with big eyes (EVERYONE comments on how big her eyes are; they look normal to me!). I'm 5'2", blonde, and 6 months pregnant

Neat! We are in Colchester, so Glastonbury isn't too far at all. I'll have to check our calendar, but I think we might actually have that day free! *yippee*

we're going to belltown tomorrow to pick blueberries with some friends who are visiting. it's a great orchard! just a heads up, from what i understand, they only pick the tree fruits on weekends... so right now if you go during the week the only thing to pick is blueberries. they usually have lots of pre-picked fruit from the farm at the market though.

Sounds like fun, we'll be there!
I'm fairly tall with mid length brown hair, I'll have my almost 3 year old and the babe in a moby wrap!

That's good to know!

Yay for lots of us ladies being able to make it!

Wow, I didn't realize there were so many CT Mamas here! Belltown is a great place, and yes, they only do tree fruit picking on the weekends. I'd love to join, but we aren't free next week, but I'll have to pop in here more often and maybe catch the next time.

Yay! Lots of 3-year-olds! This is going to be awesome. And loud.

Did anyone go to the peach festival there today? We picked another 20 pounds of blueberries to turn into delicious holiday jam gifts, and a handful of peaches and plums for snacks this week.
I'm going to try and make it? My boys are 6 and 4.
We'll be there too...me, hubby, and 2 boys that are 2 and 5!!
I'll probably be there, with three boys (6, 4, and 2) and a baby girl.
Yay, some bigger kids, too! This is going to be great! I had no idea there were so many MDC mamas from Connecticut.
I didn't either! Any homeschoolers?
We're homeschoolers.

We're going to aim for 10am to avoid the worst of the heat while picking. I'll be wearing a bright tie-dye skirt. See you tomorrow!

I'm new to the site and just happened to see this. We're in the Waterbury area. Maybe we'll come too. I'm always looking to meet other moms, but i get so nervous in big groups.
